It is a great pleasure to invite you to attend the International Conference of Psychology on "Modern Research in Psychology: Trends and Prospects”, to be held in Sibiu, between 3 and 5 June 2011
Our main objective is to bring together specialists and highly qualified practitioners in the field, with a view to having them share their expertise. We aim to provide experts and young researchers with the opportunity of presenting their work in various branches of psychology, of sharing the latest research tools, meant to achieve an intense exchange of information beneficial to all participants, and to the field of psychology as a whole.
The event provides the opportunity for all participants to take part in a large number of very interesting activities: presentations, training activities, workshops, debates and round tables. In order to form an opinion about our organizational skills, please log on to the sites of the three previous events organized by us.
All the papers presented during the conference will be included in the conference proceedings. We have already published a total of 16 volumes that included the papers presented as part of the previous editions of our conference (see http://www.ascips.ro/publicatii).

The purpose of this conference is to explore practical, methodological aspects of psychology, communication and health sciences, pedagogy, sociology, stemming from current research and its methodological, ethical, social, and cultural ramifications. We therefore aim to avoid purely theoretical, speculative activities, and organize instead practical, applied activities (workshops, debates), starting from topics of particular interest in psychology, communication and health sciences, pedagogy, sociology.
