Over a century ago, psychology took a decisive step in its evolution by breaking away from philosophy and developing as its own field of research and practice. The young science was trying to become empirical, practical, and applied, focusing on observation, analysis, intervention, and improvement across several domains, including psychological, social and organizational.
At the beginning of the 21st century, psychology introduces itself as a mature, adaptable, and diverse science, comprised of numerous sub-specialties, and impacting individuals, groups, organizations, and society. Psychology is still going through ever-increasing scientific development, enrichment of its conceptual system, and diversification of its methods, instruments, and techniques.
Today, psychological research plays an essential part in the process of outlining and uncovering new human and social horizons. By integrating diverse instruments and techniques of investigation and intervention, psychological research becomes the primary force shaping modern psychology into a truly avant-garde field. In this framework, it is our belief that organizing a scientific event dedicated to research in psychology would be most welcome.
• Our primary target includes the gathering of specialists and highly skilled practitioners in the field, with a view toward exchanging information.
• We aim at providing specialists with the opportunity to present their work, to reveal their latest research methods and instruments, and to achieve information exchange.
Every specialist, whether a psychology graduate or not, who is interested in the questions raised, as well as those incorporated in various psychologically-based teaching areas (students, masters, PhDs) is welcome. Each participant may present up to two papers. The papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
The event organized is dedicated primarily to practical, methodological, and applied aspects of psychology, that pertain to current research, as well as methodological, ethical, social and cultural implications of the field. Only non-theoretical, non-speculative, and previously unpublished papers that have not been presented at other events will be accepted.
